Portraits of Ohlone women, elders and youth, and other photographs documenting traditional Ohlone activities. Collection material
is associated with two documentary projects: Ohlone women elders: restoring a California legacy (2006), and Ohlone elders
and youth speak: restoring a California legacy (2014), both of which resulted in exhibitions and oral history publications.
Also includes labels and other ephemera pertaining to a 2015 exhibition on Ohlone elders and youth held at the San Francisco
Public Library, and a small number of miscellaneous printed oral histories of Ohlone women conducted by Janet Clinger. PIC
box 1: prints, chiefly depicting Ohlone women, including contact sheets that correspond to most negatives. PIC box 2: exhibition
labels and other ephemera; printed texts of oral histories. NEG box 1: chiefly black & white negatives, mostly depicting Ohlone
women, most of which are duplicated in corresponding contact sheets and other prints (in PIC box 1). AX folder: two color
portrait photographs. Oversize materials in F folders (20 prints) and D drawer (15 prints): chiefly mounted color exhibition
prints, including portraits and depictions of traditional ceremonies. Thumb drive of digital material contains entirety of
images taken for the Ohlone elders and youth project (2014).
